I’m developing a new approach to the bills I introduce each legislative session, and I want it to be shaped largely by the people I represent. I’ll set clear submission windows and post them publicly on this website. During those windows, any registered voter in the district can submit their bill ideas. Once the window closes, every idea moves into a transparent, secure voting process on the Voter Engagement Questionnaire page, where the community decides which proposals rise to the top.
From there, I’ll sponsor the ideas that receive the strongest support—up to twenty bills per legislative session. I won’t filter them based on my personal preferences, and I won’t act as a gatekeeper. My role is the conduit, not the decider. The goal is to make the legislative process more accessible, more accountable, and genuinely shaped by the people who live here.
At its core, this is about using my bill‑submission authority to elevate community priorities instead of my own. I want to build a system where everyone can clearly see how their voice becomes real legislative action, and where the people of this district have a direct, meaningful influence on the direction of their government.
